We will be having a Good Friday Service this week at 7pm. You can use the same link as the Sunday Morning service listed below.
There will not be any Sunday morning small group this week.
Finally, our Easter Sunday Morning Service will start at the normal time of 10 am on April 12th. You can join us via the normal Sunday Service link: https://zoom.us/j/792084250. Alternatively, you could call 312 626 6799 and enter meeting ID 792 084 250.
If you would prefer to call in, you can call 1-312-626-6799 and then use Meeting ID 792 084 250.
This week we will be asking everyone to turn off your webcams during the service. You can do so by clicking on the video button in the lower left corner of your screen so it shows a red line through the middle of it.
We have a free gift for you! I’m excited to share that our church has access to an extensive, video library called RightNow Media!
It’s like the “Netflix of Video Bible Studies” and has a HUGE library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want—on your phone, tablet, computer, or on your TV at home. You will have FREE access to thousands of video resources to help you with parenting, marriage, discipleship and more. It includes content for all ages and stages of life, and all of your family members are invited to set up their own accounts as well.
Now, let’s create your free account! There are two simple steps:
1. Click on the link below to create your private account and start watching right away!
2. Download the RightNow Media app for your smart phone, tablet, Apple TV, Roku, or Amazon Fire
We hope you and your family enjoy this gift from all of us here at Cedar Creek Church!
From there, you should be able to watch the service
We are hoping to make the prayer time towards the end of the service interactive. Unmute your mic when you want to speak so you can pray at the correct time.
If you would rather just call into the “meeting” instead of using data, call 1 312 626 6799 and then use Meeting ID: 792 084 250. One click for mobile is +13126266799,,792084250#
General tips for conference calls
Keep your mic muted until you want to speak
Remember that if you are sharing your video, we can see everything on your webcam
You can find controls similar to the ones pictured below to mute your mic and to share your video on the bottom left corner of the screen (green or white and black is live, red means you are not sharing either your audio or video)
Philippians 4:6 says “Do not be anxious about anything, but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests
to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
In light of the recent developments with COVID-19 here in
Minnesota, we as the elder board want to open the discussion. We know we need to be wise while simultaneously
trusting in our God, who is all powerful.
That said, life as the body of Christ here in the Hayfield community
will be changing over the next couple of weeks.
First off, we will meet on Sunday, March 15th at
our regular time. Adult small group will
continue at 8:30 am before the service. While
we meet, please respect the following protocol:
If you feel sick in any way, please do not join
us. We will be setting up a way to livestream
the service so you won’t miss out
Wash hands frequently
Give each other room
Please no hugs, handshakes, or touching one another’s
The kitchen will be run differently:
One person will pour drinks (in new cups only)
and hand out snacks
Parents, please have an age appropriate
conversation with your children as to how to reduce the spread of sicknesses.
We will be reevaluating the situation on a regular basis as
things develop. In the event that we
need to cancel physically meeting together, we will be moving to Zoom Cloud Meetings
as a way to stay connected. This is a multi-platform
app based video conferencing program that can enable us to still see and
connect with each other and be the body Christ wants us to be. Stay tuned for links and directions.
