Operation Christmas Child

What is "Operation Christmas Child?

It is a world outreach to children in need that Cedar Creek supports each year. Your gift filled shoeboxes represent more than smiles and laughter; they become gospel opportunities that open doors to share the love of Jesus Christ with children and their families around the world!

How do I take part?

Simply fill a shoe box with gifts for a boy or girl. Please return the box to Cedar Creek by Sunday, November 12. Please donate $9 for each box you donate, to help cover the shipping costs. More detailed info below¦

1.    SHOE BOX: Either Use an empty show box (standard size, please) or a small plastic container (some available at church. Or you can bring gifts in a bag and volunteers will put in boxes and wrap Nov 12. Either way, please  pray for the child who will receive your gift!

2.    BOY OR GIRL: Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl.Indicate age and gender using labels from envelopes provided at church, and tape the label to the top of your box.

3.    FILL WITH GIFTS: Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring delight to a child. Use the gift ideas provided below.

4.    INCLUDE $9 DONATION: Please donate $9 or more for each shoe box you prepare to help cover shipping and other project costs by using the provided envelopes. If paying by check, please leave blank. That will enable us to track where the boxes go to in the world. DROP OFF: Place a rubber band around each closed shore box and drop it off AT CEDAR CREEK CHURCH by SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12. You can drop them off in the office area anytime. [NOTE: if you can stay after church that day, to help us wrap the boxes/lids, please considering helping.]
